Standard Protocol

DOSING

Atorvastatin 40mg once daily for two weeks then increase to 80mg once daily after two weeks

Metformin 500mg once daily for two weeks then increase to 500mg twice daily after two weeks

Mebendazole 100mg once daily for one month then switch to Doxycycline 100mg once daily

Doxycycline 100mg once daily for one month (after completing a month of Mebendazole)

[Alternate between the Mebendazole and Doxycycline from month to month i.e. first month, Mebendazole; second month, Doxycycline; third month, Mebendazole etc]

HOW TO TAKE

For the first two weeks:

Atorvastatin 40mg tablet at night 

Metformin 500mg tablet in the morning (with breakfast)  

Mebendazole 100mg tablet in the morning (with breakfast or lunch)

After two weeks:

Atorvastatin 80mg (2 x 40mg tablets taken together) at night 

500mg tablet in the morning (with breakfast) and 500mg tablet in the evening (with dinner) 

Mebendazole 100mg tablet with breakfast or lunch. (alternate monthly with Doxycycline, as outlined above)
